Tooth Whitening / Bleaching

They say that a smile is the shortest distance between two people.
A beautiful smile is often the first thing we notice about someone. Beautiful, straight, white teeth are considered ideal for an attractive appearance. Both in business and in private, healthy and beautiful teeth give you an advantage and may open many doors for you. When you feel good about your smile, you step into the world with more confidence, which attracts positive reactions.

Nowadays, there is no reason to delay pursuing the dream of the perfect smile. It is effortlessly easy to lighten your teeth safely, quickly, and long-lastingly. Professional teeth whitening uses a gentle method that leads to optimal results in the shortest time and is absolutely safe.

How do the teeth become whiter?

We use a process in which hydrogen peroxide is applied to the teeth as a gel and then activated by light. The hydrogen peroxide seeps into the enamel and dissolves the color pigments, making your teeth appear whiter. The treatment takes about 90 minutes. In just one sitting, we whiten your teeth in several steps so that you can leave the practice with perfectly white teeth.
To understand tooth whitening more completely, it is important to first understand the causes of discoloration:
An outer discoloration develops when darker color pigments become lodged in the surface of the enamel (i.e. through the frequent consumption of coffee, tea, and red wine, or smoking).

As long as these stains are superficial, they can be removed by cleaning your teeth. However, over time, color pigments seep more deeply into the tooth and make it appear darker or more yellow. With increasing age, the increasing production of a particular substance inside the tooth can also make the tooth appear darker. This type of discoloration is highly treatable with professional tooth whitening, which can be performed without any health concerns. Under certain circumstances, a discoloration can also occur because of certain „inner processes“. We will discuss these in advance with you. Reasons for this include certain medications, health conditions, dental injuries, or root canals.

During your first consultation, we assess your idea of the perfect smile and identify it with the help of example images. We then take photos of the current state of your teeth and answer any questions you might have. We consider exposed cervical dentin, crowns, discolorations, color gradations, and also sensitive teeth. This way, we can document your individual coloration process.

The result lasts up to five years and can be renewed at any time. The method is completely painless and gentle to the teeth and gums. Have we sparked your interest? Book a consultation with us and we will be happy to respond to all of your questions.
